The World We Live In

I added the blog of Ko Htike to my page today. Basically, all Internet connections in Myanmar have been shut off so few reports of the protests and what is really happening there are getting out to the rest of the world. Click here to see CNN's coverage and here for a Q&A about what has been happening in Myanmar. They update as regularly as they can, but with so few foreign journalists allowed in the country, information is not readily available. With Myanmar supported heavily by China, unfortunately I don't see the U.S. or any other Western powers stepping in any time soon to help - though I'm not sure what we can do at this point to begin with.
